About the Hanger

The Gia Hanger was created to solve a common household problem – preventing necklines from getting damaged from the use of traditional, rigid hangers. This product idea originated from the inventor’s desire to save his wife’s wardrobe from future damage. The challenge was making a hanger "fold-up" and be able to return to its original shape without snapping. The inventor’s solution was a collapsible hanger utilizing two pivot joints and the principle of structural resilience to retract to its original shape.
